Number Porting for Dental Offices
Keep the number your patients already know. We handle the port — zero downtime.
Your phone number is one of the practice's most valuable assets. Patients have it saved, it's on the signage, the website, the Google Business Profile, the review history, the billboards — switching numbers means burning all of that. You don't. Porting moves your existing number to the new system, and your patients never know anything changed.
We handle the entire port: the paperwork with your current carrier, the timing, the cutover. You keep the number you've had for years, on a system that actually answers.
What You Get
- Keep every number the practice currently has — front desk, after-hours, everything
- We handle the LOA and carrier paperwork; you approve, we do the rest
- Zero-downtime cutover: the number works before the old system is switched off
- Your Google Business Profile, reviews, and signage keep working unchanged
What Porting Actually Involves
Concretely: you give us your current carrier and the numbers to keep, and we prepare the letter of authorization — the standard form your current carrier requires — for your signature. You review it, sign it, and we submit. Most local ports complete within a few business days, and we time the cutover so your number is working on the new system before the old one is switched off: zero downtime, no 'wrong number' period, no second phone on the desk. Your Google Business Profile, your review history, your signage, your website — all of it keeps pointing at the same number, so nothing about how patients find you changes. The only thing that changes is what happens when they dial.
Why It Matters for a Dental Office
Most practices don't realize porting is the easy part — the fear of it is what keeps them on broken systems for years. 'What if we lose the number?' 'What if it takes weeks?' In practice, porting a local number is a routine carrier-to-carrier transfer with a standard form, and doing it wrong is rare when the porting side has done it thousands of times.
It's also the reason 'no contract' matters on your end: your current carrier knows the number is their leverage. Once the number is ported and you're month-to-month, that leverage is gone — which is exactly where you want to be.
Serving the Inland Empire — and the Contiguous US
We deploy and support this for practices in cities across the Inland Empire — including Upland · Chino · Pomona — and in all 48 contiguous states. We're based in Upland, CA, with our own technicians across Southern California; installs outside that area are handled with the practice or a local subcontractor.
