Dental Office Phone System — Questions We Get Every Week

Straight answers on cost, HIPAA, porting, and uptime. If yours isn't here, call 909-509-4600.

These are the seven questions we get on almost every first call, answered the same way we'd answer them on the phone — straight, specific, and without the marketing varnish. If your question isn't here, the fastest path is the one we built this site around: a call.

How much does a phone system for a dental office cost?

You pay a flat per-line monthly fee for the service, with no contract. The equipment side is flexible: some practices start on the softphone app, using the phones and computers they already own — no new hardware at all. Others have us install what the office actually wants: tabletop or cordless phones, a router, a PoE switch. Any hardware is a-la-carte and month-to-month — buy it outright or add it to your monthly — and most items can start on the monthly and be bought out later, which lowers the bill. Everything can grow or shrink with the practice. The exact total depends on how many lines you need and which features you want, which is why we quote on the phone in about five minutes. Call 909-509-4600 and we'll walk through it against your current phone bill, so you can compare apples to apples.

Is the system HIPAA-compliant?

It's built to support your compliance obligations: hosted in the United States, supported by a US-based team, with voicemail and call handling designed around the fact that patients say sensitive things on the phone. We're not going to stamp 'certified' on anything we can't stand behind — instead, call us and we'll walk your compliance checklist line by line so you know exactly what you're getting.

Can we keep our current phone number?

Yes. We port your existing number(s) to the new system — your patients, your website, your signage, and your Google Business Profile all keep working with the same number. We handle the port paperwork with your current carrier, and it's done with zero downtime for the practice.

Do you serve outside the Inland Empire?

Yes. We're based in Upland, CA, and we serve dental practices in all 48 contiguous states. Within Southern California we send our own technicians; outside that area, installs are handled with the practice or a local subcontractor we work with. Either way you get the same hosted system, the same 24/7 US-based support, and the same no-contract terms.

What happens to our calls if the internet goes out?

Your lines fail over to mobile — calls keep coming in to your phones even if the office internet drops, so the front desk is never unreachable. And because we monitor the system around the clock, most connectivity problems are caught and fixed before your team notices them.

How fast can we go live?

Because the system is fully hosted, it works on the phones and computers you already have — most practices are ported and live within days of the first call, which means you stop losing calls to your old system almost immediately. Any hardware we install (tabletop or cordless phones, a router, a switch) is a-la-carte and month-to-month, so you can add it whenever it's convenient.

Can one system cover multiple locations?

Yes — and it's one of our most common setups for dental groups. Each location gets its own lines and extensions, staff can dial across locations directly, and you manage everything from one dashboard with one bill and one support number. Adding a location later is a config change, not a new project.
